The Regular Passport is a full-validity passport that allows the bearer to travel to all countries with which the United States has diplomatic relations. The holder may also request entry into these countries for business, pleasure, or medical reasons. A Regular Passport is valid for ten years and may be renewed by mail. The No-Fee Regular Passport is issued without charge to eligible members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their dependents, as well as to certain other categories of individuals.
